My name is Praveen Jangira, and i live in Bangalore, India.



I started this blog as a project to pen down my thoughts and share with all. I wrote few articles initially to start with. As i started getting followers and compliments and questions on my articles, i started continuing writing. I tried to add as many articles as possible and in different specters. I decided that I wanted to keep adding to it to share thoughts and ideas with others as well as have a place for reflection.



As a professional, I am a Global Alliance Program Manager working with Hewlett Packard. I have a rich mix of project management, process management, client engagement, operations management, people and team management, skill development and training, managing cross-functional teams, mentoring and organizing and facilitating leadership & project management workshops.

I am associated with Project Management Institute since 2009 and have been involved in various volunteer activities. A very active member of PMI Bangalore Chapter where in i have been involved in key program as a volunteer, for example Project Management Yearly Conference, Project Management National Conference 2015 etc. 

My interests includes events management, travelling, social media, writing, cars and anything that makes me happy. 

With this blog, i intend to share my experiences, my knowledge, my understanding, my travel stories and my perspectives on various topics.I am sure you will find the information helpful, informative and useful. Please do leave your comments.

Three friends or shall we say three musketeers, set out to take the challenge and complete the trek from Tirupati to Tirumala. In the past one year, we had been to Tirupati 3 or 4 times. Whenever we want to go, we just pick up our car and drive to Tirupati. It is 250 kms from Bangalore and takes about 4 hours to drive. The route is pretty straight and the roads also good except for a small patch which is in bad state and some part of it is a single lane highway. We started our journey on Thursday i.e. 22 Sep 2011 at night 10.00 pm from Marathalli. I went to my friends place and picked up his Etios and started driving towards Whitefield where we had to pick up another friend. Rameswaram has been a very important and integral part of Hindu pilgrimage and it is one of the most important places to cover in Southern India. It is one of the four Dhams (sites.abodes/seats) or pilgrimage sites in India that are widely revered by Hindus. The four pilgrimage site comprises Badrinath, Dwarka, Puri and Rameswaram. Rameswaram got its importance in the Treta-Yuga when Lord Ram built a Shiv-ling here and worshiped it to get the blessings of Lord Shiva. The Rameswaram means "the God of Lord Ram". Trip to Vaishno Devi

Jai kara shera wali da, bol sache darbar ke jai! This was a trip, long due for me. Last time I visited Vaishno Devi was some three years back I guess. I was making plans ever since I decided that I will be going to Delhi in Dec to spend time with my extended family. This time of the year, it’s very cold, in Delhi and even colder at Vaishno Devi and hence less people are expected to visit. Therefore, the officials keep both the caves open and hence you can have good darshan at the Bhawan as well. I reached Delhi on 17th November 2011 and started making my plans for the trip. Spoke to couple of friends who agreed to join me on the trip. But, there is a saying. You will visit Vaishno Devi shrine only if there is an invitation for you from Mata. I guess my time had not come and hence thrice I had to cancel my plans. I was desperate to visit in 2011, but I did not realize that god has some other plans for me.
